AAOF supports residents in order to secure the future of the orthodontic specialty.
2021 Resident Education Program
The AAO Foundation recognizes the importance of residents having the opportunity to experience an AAO Annual Session, and we support them through this program by offering a one-time $400 incentive to offset expenses for attending the conference. Due to the 2020 conference moving to a virtual platform, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have extended the eligibility for 2021 to residents who would have qualified in 2020.
To qualify for the Resident Education Program Incentive of $400, residents must meet the following qualifications:
1. Be a student member of AAO
2. Have a graduation date AFTER November 1, 2019
2. Study in a program in the U.S. or Canada
3.
Attend Annual Session (in person) and visit the AAOF Booth during Exhibit Hall Hours to complete requirements that confirm attendance.
4. Have not received this gift in previous years.
*Please note, we will not be accepting applications in advance and no longer require a W-9 form. Checks will be mailed directly to residents AFTER Annual Session.
