Dr Budd Rubin took joy in raising up those around him, whether it was patients or co-workers - or someone on the street. He delighted in those around him and respected those with whom he came in contact.
He was passionate and committed to Orthodontics - and Orthodontists and was a force in organized Dentistry and Orthodontics through his advocacy at the local, state, and national level.
He taught residents at UCLA and ran a CE course for many years.
Dr. Melanie Parker and LeeAnn Peniche, both good friends of Dr. Rubin, are spearheading the campaign to honor Dr. Rubin in support of the AAO Foundation's Full-time Faculty Fellowship.
